mould design services to toolmakers, plastic moulders and diecasting foundries
throughout the UK.
Using SDRC Ideas-8, components are modelled before the moulding tool is designed and subsequently fully modelled in 3D for the toolmaker to generate cutter paths. Detailed tool drawings of the complete mould are generated in 2D for conventional machining. |

The range of moulds which have been designed in the past vary
enormously from small plastic moulds upto large high pressure diecasting
tools. The largest die that the company has designed weighed 27 tonnes and
produced an automotive engine component.
Marven Mould Design also provides a service for customers wishing to convert their legacy paper drawings onto CAD in either 2D or 3D format. Drawings can be plotted on any media from A4 to A0 and in full colour if required. |
